TENDER DESCRIPTION

The district-affiliated municipality of Niederkrüchten with approximately 15,000 inhabitants is located on the left Lower Rhine in the west of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, on the border with the Netherlands. The municipality of Niederkrüchten is the operator of three cemeteries in the localities of Elmpt, Niederkrüchten and Oberkrüchten. It is intended to award the contract for the horticultural and landscaping care services as well as the carrying out of burials, including the earthworks required for this, in an open tender procedure. The cemetery Elmpt covers an area of approximately 22,800 m², the cemetery Niederkrüchten approximately 18,600 m² and the cemetery Oberkrüchten approximately 5,300 m². Two lots are formed. Lot 1 includes all services for the cemetery Elmpt, Lot 2 the services for the cemeteries Niederkrüchten and Oberkrüchten together; there is a distance of approximately two kilometres between the latter-mentioned cemeteries.
