TENDER DESCRIPTION

The municipality of Niederkrüchten, a municipality belonging to the district, with approx. 15,000 inhabitants, is located on the left bank of the Lower Rhine in the west of the federal state of North Rhine-Westphalia, on the border with the Netherlands. The municipality of Niederkrüchten operates three cemeteries in the local districts of Elmpt, Niederkrüchten and Oberkrüchten. It is intended to award the contract for the horticultural and landscape gardening services as well as the performance of burials, including the earthworks required for this, at the cemeteries by means of an open procurement procedure. The Elmpt cemetery covers an area of approx. 22,800 m², the Niederkrüchten cemetery approx. 18,600 m² and the Oberkrüchten cemetery approx. 5,300 m². Two lots are formed. Lot 1 includes all services for the Elmpt cemetery; Lot 2 includes the services for the Niederkrüchten and Oberkrüchten cemeteries together; between the latter cemeteries there is a distance of approx. two kilometres.
