TENDER DESCRIPTION

The contracting authority procures natural gas including portfolio management and balancing account management with risk assumption for the boiler plant at the Brunsbüttel site. Gas offtake takes place depending on temperature, depending on the water temperature of the Elbe, and is not continuous. Gas is required only when the water temperature of the Elbe falls below a specific threshold value. The contracting authority cannot guarantee a fixed offtake quantity. The aim is lasting price stability with variable offtake.
