TENDER DESCRIPTION
The contracting authority procures natural gas including portfolio management and balancing group management with risk assumption for the heating boiler plant at the Brunsbüttel site. Gas offtake is temperature-dependent, depending on the water temperature of the Elbe, and is not continuous. Gas is needed only when the water temperature of the Elbe falls below a specific threshold value. The contracting authority cannot guarantee a fixed offtake quantity. The objective is sustained price stability with variable offtake. The services include in particular: - supply of natural gas at the delivery point Brunsbüttel (network point ID 10206191818) - structured procurement via forward products and the spot market - portfolio management of the gas quantities - balancing group management including complete assumption of balancing group risks - fulfillment of REMIT reporting obligations (Regulation (EU) No 1227/2011)
