TENDER DESCRIPTION

The contract subject matter comprises all planning services with the aim of removing contaminants, complete dismantling, and backfilling the excavation pit for the structural facilities referred to above (Building 15.4, wings w and y), including the technical building equipment and the laboratory equipment/furnishings associated with the building. The building 15.4 is located within a building complex inside the Forschungszentrum Jülich (FZJ) in the north-west of the site and consists of 4 different wings (u, v, w, y). Building 15.1 is directly attached to the north-west. The wings 15.4w and 15.4y are to be dismantled to make space for new construction. The building wings to be demolished are contaminated with hazardous substances and must therefore be decontaminated prior to dismantling. A hazardous substance register from 2020 is available and is attached. The hazardous substance register must still be supplemented by all investigations required for a complete dismantling; this is part of the planning services described.
