TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject of the award comprises all planning services with the objective of removing pollutants, complete dismantling, and refilling the construction pit of the above-mentioned structures (Building 15.4, wing w and y), including the technical building equipment and the laboratory equipment/furnishings connected to the building. The building 15.4 is located within a building complex at the Forschungszentrum Jülich (FZJ) in the northwest of the site and consists of 4 different wings (u, v, w, y). Building 15.1 is directly attached to it in the northwest. The wings 15.4w and 15.4y are to be dismantled to make space for a new build. The building wings to be demolished are contaminated with pollutants and must therefore be decontaminated before dismantling. A pollutant register from 2020 is available and is attached. The pollutant register must still be supplemented with all investigations required for complete dismantling; this is part of the planning services described. The wings to be dismantled were built around 1964.
