TENDER DESCRIPTION

In the centre of the city of Hanau there is the retail (department store) building constructed in 1957 of the retail store group Galeria S.à r.l. & Co. KG (formerly Galeria Karstadt Kaufhof GmbH), which, after it has ceased using it, is owned by the city of Hanau and is to be further developed by it into “Stadthof Hanau”. The building is intended to house retail outlets, gastronomy, exhibition and leisure areas, and offices. Therefore, the contracting authority intends to modernise and revitalise the building of Stadthof Hanau and, for this purpose, to carry out the necessary construction measures. The subject of the procurement procedure is the award of a contract for construction services for building automation for Stadthof Hanau, namely for measurement, control and regulation technology (hereinafter “services”). These form part of the required trades for the modernisation and revitalisation of Stadthof Hanau. Details are set out in the specifications (No. 7 of the tender documents).
