TENDER DESCRIPTION

Notwithstanding the maintenance and repair work already carried out on the Stadtkirche in Meiningen, there continues to be a substantial need for renovation. In particular, the natural stone façades, roof and structural support constructions, as well as the historic leaded glass windows, show damage due to age and weathering, requiring comprehensive and coordinated renovation planning. Against this background, the church is to be sustainably maintained, taking into account heritage preservation, engineering, restoration, and economic requirements, and secured in the long term for its future use. The goal is an overall renovation that can be implemented in sections, with the maximum possible preservation of the historic fabric. To carry out the planning services, the following specialist lots will be awarded as part of this procurement procedure: Lot 1 - structural design for buildings in accordance with §§ 33 et seq. HOAI Lot 2 - specialist planning for structural engineering in accordance with §§ 49 et seq.
