TENDER DESCRIPTION
Notwithstanding repair works already carried out at the Meiningen City Church, there is still a significant need for renovation. In particular, the natural stone façades, roof and structural engineering components, as well as the historic leaded glass windows show age- and weather-related damage, which requires comprehensive and coordinated renovation planning. Against this background, the City Church is to be sustainably restored while taking into account requirements for conservation of monuments, constructional aspects, restoration work and economic considerations, and secured in the long term for its future use. The aim is a phased overall refurbishment with the maximum possible preservation of the historic building fabric. To carry out the planning services, the following specialist lots are awarded within the scope of this procurement procedure: Lot 1 - Building design in accordance with §§ 33 et seq. HOAI; Lot 2 - Structural engineering planning in accordance with §§ 49 et seq. HOAI; Lot 3 - Conservation-restoration specialist planning.
