TENDER DESCRIPTION

With this procurement, the Contracting Authority intends to conclude a framework agreement with a professional, reliable, and careful funeral organization for the execution of municipal funerals. The Contractor must be able to act quickly, carefully, and in accordance with laws and regulations after the contract award. The desired situation is that municipal funerals are carried out in a uniform, modest, and respectful manner. The human dignity of the deceased is central, while simultaneously taking into account the public nature of the Assignment and the necessity for cost control. This assignment consists of ensuring compliance with the Burial Act of the municipality of Apeldoorn and concerns a framework agreement with an estimated value of €1,600,000. The mentioned amount is an indication; therefore, no rights can be derived from the mentioned amount. The contract value over the total duration of the framework agreement is capped at 150% of the amount stated above under ‘Contract Size’.
