TENDER DESCRIPTION

In order to ensure attractiveness as a location for housing and business also in the future, the municipality of Bernried (hereinafter “the contracting authority”) intends to further improve broadband provision in the municipality and thus achieve nationwide gigabit coverage. To achieve this objective, the contracting authority has already completed the following procedural steps within the federal Gigabit funding programme of 2.0 (2025): - Sector dialogue - Market consultation procedure - Submission of a funding application. The contracting authority received, on 11.11.2025, the notice of a grant from the Federal Government for a Wirtschaftlichkeitslückenmodell under the guideline “Funding to support the gigabit build-out of telecommunications networks in the Federal Republic of Germany” (Gigabit-Richtlinie 2.0) of 13.01.2025 (amended version).
