TENDER DESCRIPTION

In order to ensure that Bernried municipality remains an attractive place to live and to do business also in the future, the municipality of Bernried (hereinafter “the contracting authority”) intends to further improve broadband provision in the municipality and thereby achieve comprehensive gigabit coverage. To achieve this objective, the contracting authority has already carried out the following procedural steps within the federal gigabit funding programme of 2.0 (2025): - industry dialogue - market consultation procedure - submission of funding application. On 11.11.2025, the contracting authority received the decision on a grant by the Federal Government for an economic viability gap model under the guideline “Funding to support the gigabit expansion of telecommunications networks in the Federal Republic of Germany” (Gigabit-Richtlinie 2.0) dated 13.01.2025 (amended version).
