TENDER DESCRIPTION

The municipality of Bischberg intends, in accordance with the guidelines for grants of the Free State of Bavaria for the promotion of municipal fire services (Fire Department Grant Guidelines, FwZR), to procure a fire-fighting vehicle (LF) 10 as a new vehicle for the Volunteer Fire Department Trosdorf in 2026. The vehicle is to meet the requirements of the standard DIN 14530-5:2019-11 and be able to accommodate at least one fire-fighting group (1/5) as well as fire service equipment in accordance with the current standards of the State Fire Academy Regensburg. This procurement is an essential component of the strategic further development of fire-fighting technology and equipment for the Fire Department Trosdorf. The need to procure a new LF 10 has already been set out in the update of the fire service needs plan 2024 (GR TOP 107/2024) for the years 2027/2028. The LF 8/6 currently in service from 1994 has now reached the end of its service life and no longer meets the current requirements regarding safety, technology, and operational capability.
