TENDER DESCRIPTION

Bischberg Municipality intends, in accordance with the funding guidelines of the Free State of Bavaria for the promotion of municipal fire services (Fire Services Funding Guidelines, FwZR), to procure a fire-fighting vehicle (LF) 10 as a new vehicle for the Volunteer Fire Department Trosdorf in 2026. The vehicle is to comply with the requirements of the standard DIN 14530-5:2019-11 and be able to accommodate at least one fire-fighting crew (1/5) as well as fire-service equipment in accordance with the current standards of the State Fire Academy Regensburg. This procurement is an essential component of the strategic further development of firefighting technology and the equipment of the Trosdorf Fire Department. The need to procure a new LF 10 has already been established in the update of the 2024 fire service needs plan (GR TOP 107/2024) for the years 2027/2028. The currently deployed LF 8/6 from 1994 has now reached the end of its service life and no longer meets the current requirements with regard to safety, technology and operational capability.
