TENDER DESCRIPTION

Planning, construction and operation of a gigabit network under the economic shortfall model for all tendered addresses on the basis of Gigabit-RL 2.0. The subject of this selection procedure is the award of a service concession for the planning, construction and operation of a gigabit network under the economic shortfall model pursuant to section 3.1 of Gigabit-RL 2.0. The objective of this measure is gigabit provision of the build-out areas with gigabit-capable broadband connections with data transmission rates of at least 1 Gbit/s symmetrical at peak load time conditions for all end users of the tendered addresses in the build-out area, whereby the upload and download rate must at least double. The build-out area is specified in detail in the “B performance specification” and its annexes, in particular the maps of the build-out area (B1, B1.1 to B1.2) and the address lists (B2, B2.1 to B2.2).
