TENDER DESCRIPTION

Planning, construction and operation of a gigabit network under the model of funding gaps for all tendered addresses based on Gigabit-RL 2.0. The subject of this selection procedure is the award of a service concession for the planning, construction and operation of a gigabit network under the model of funding gaps in accordance with section 3.1 of Gigabit-RL 2.0. The objective of this measure is the gigabit supply of the build-out areas with gigabit-capable broadband connections with data transmission rates of at least 1 Gbit/s symmetric at peak-load-time conditions for all end users of the tendered addresses in the build-out area, whereby the upload and download rate must increase by at least a factor of two. The build-out area is determined in detail from the “B-Performance specification” and its annexes, in particular the maps of the build-out area (B1, B1.1 to B1.2) and the address lists (B2, B2.1 to B2.2).
