TENDER DESCRIPTION

This procurement procedure aims to ensure 100% area-wide coverage of the under-served areas with demand-driven broadband service comparable to gigabit transmission in the municipality of Mickhausen. The subject of the concession is accordingly the provision of all under-served demand points with a sustainable and high-performance telecommunications infrastructure (gigabit network). The purpose-binding period is 7 years. The concession at issue comprises a total of approximately 566 addresses. For area-wide broadband provision, the grantor intends to address the broadband under-supply with the aid of the federal and state funding programmes. For this purpose, the grantor has submitted an application for the granting of financial assistance within the meaning of the guideline “Promotion to support the expansion of gigabit-capable telecommunications networks in the Federal Republic of Germany” (Gigabit Guideline of the Federal Government 2.0).
