TENDER DESCRIPTION

The municipality of Weiskirchen (hereinafter also: “contracting authority”) intends to drive forward the primary school development—particularly with regard to the statutory legal entitlement to full-day childcare from the year 2026. Therefore, the contracting authority has commissioned a feasibility study for the expansion of the available space of the local primary schools. On the basis of this feasibility study, the contracting authority has decided to expand the primary school site in the district of Thailen as well as the primary school site in the district of Konfeld and the full-day school there. In this regard, a procurement procedure has already been carried out for the commissioning of the building design for the expansion and refurbishment of the two school sites. During the performance of the contract for building design relating to the refurbishment and expansion of the school site in Thailen, it was determined that a new build is technically and economically more sensible than an extension and refurbishment.
