TENDER DESCRIPTION

The aim of the project is the comprehensive energy-efficient, functional, and structural further development of the existing school site into a future-proof, sustainable, and barrier-free special needs school. The measure focuses on the energy-efficient refurbishment of the existing building. For this purpose, the building envelope will be fully upgraded for energy efficiency, all windows and exterior doors will be replaced, and the heating, ventilation, lighting, and building automation systems will be brought to an energy-efficient standard. The existing gas heating system is to be replaced by a brine-water heat pump with geothermal probes. In addition, the building is to be equipped with a photovoltaic system. To cover the additional space requirement and to adapt to today’s school needs, the first upper floor will be expanded through an additional storey and a reorganization. This will create additional classrooms, therapy rooms, support rooms, and specialist rooms, as well as supplementary sanitary, technical, and ancillary areas.
