TENDER DESCRIPTION

The objective of the project is the comprehensive energy-efficient, functional and structural redevelopment of the existing school site into a future-proof, sustainable and barrier-free special needs school. The measure focuses on the energy-efficient refurbishment of the existing building. To this end, the building envelope will be fully upgraded to an energy-efficient standard, all windows and exterior doors will be replaced, and the heating, ventilation, lighting and building automation systems will be brought to an energy-efficient level. The existing gas boiler heating system will be replaced by a ground-source heat pump with earth probes. In addition, the building is to be equipped with a photovoltaic system. To cover the additional requirement for space and to adapt to today’s educational needs, the first floor will be expanded by an additional storey and reorganised.
