TENDER DESCRIPTION

1. Initial situation The City of Rhede plans the construction of a fire station for the Volunteer Fire Department Rhede, fire-fighting unit South (Löschzug Süd). The reason for the project is the long-term mandate to ensure effective fire protection and the technical and functional adjustment requirements arising from current statutory, regulatory and organizational requirements. The existing fire station no longer meets today’s requirements, particularly with regard to availability of space, occupational safety, functional processes and the consistent separation of black and white areas. In addition, there are limitations regarding expandability and future-proofing. To clarify the basic feasibility, a feasibility study was prepared by kplan(R)AG (status: 20.12.2023). This forms the basis for further project development and for the present project description. The new building is to be implemented on the plot of land owned by the City of Rhede, district Rhede (Gemarkung Rhede), plot 114 (Flur 114), plot 74 (Flurstück 74). 2.
