TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject of this tender is the high- and low-voltage installations within the framework of the general renovation of the upper castle of Genovevaburg. The construction site is accessible via Mario-Adorf-Burgweg. However, this is only passable to a limited extent. Therefore, delivery by truck or other larger vehicles takes place at the construction site setup area in the Boemundring/Marktplatz area. A crane is available here for material transport. The city of Mayen intends to rebuild and modernize the upper castle of Genovevaburg as well as to renovate and expand the existing museum in the upper castle. Furthermore, rooms will be created here for use during the castle festival. The base area of the upper castle is approximately 30 × 30 m. The building is partially cellar-basement, with one section of the cellar accessible at ground level via the entrance to the castle. The special feature of the object is that the entire upper castle is a listed building and therefore special care must be taken during installation.
