TENDER DESCRIPTION

The energy supply company STAWAG - Stadt- und Städteregionswerke Aachen AG, based in Aachen, is planning the new combined heat and power plant "Eisenbahnweg". The subject of this procedure is the general contractor services for the construction of the gas turbine combined heat and power plant at Eisenbahnweg in Aachen. The contracting authority also intends to conclude a maintenance contract for the duration of the CHP funding for the gas turbine combined heat and power plant. STAWAG operates an extensive district heating network in Aachen. As part of the expansion of the network and the transformation to regenerative heat generation, the above-mentioned combined heat and power plant (hereinafter referred to as CHP plant) was planned. The site is a former industrial site in eastern Aachen. For reasons of delivery time, the gas turbines were additionally already procured beyond the present invitation to tender and ordered from the manufacturer Kawasaki.
