TENDER DESCRIPTION

The contracting authority intends to award general contractor services for the renovation of all facades - with the exception of the west facade already completed -, the associated windows and doors, the access facilities (including the temple on the north side), as well as the waterproofing and rainwater drainage of the terrace including the associated sewage system throughout the entire Tonhalle Düsseldorf building. The Tonhalle is a concert hall and an architectural landmark of the city of Düsseldorf. It was opened in its current form and use in 1978 and has since undergone numerous renovations and modernizations to preserve its functionality and aesthetics. The Tonhalle offers a diverse program ranging from classical concerts to modern music events. The renovation works for the facade and terrace specifically include the following building parts: - Renovation of the waterproofing of the entire terrace (horizontal brick surface, stair steps, railings, coping stones) - with the exception of the western facade connection; - Facades on the north, east and south sides (brick surfaces, natural stone surfaces, windows, doors); - Access facilities of the temples at the building…
