TENDER DESCRIPTION

The contracting authority intends to award general contractor services for the renovation of all facades - except for the already executed west facade -, the associated windows and doors, the access facilities (including the temple on the north side), as well as the sealing and rainwater drainage of the terrace including the associated sewage system throughout the Tonhalle Düsseldorf building. The Tonhalle is a concert hall and an architectural landmark of the city of Düsseldorf. It was opened in its current form and use in 1978 and has since undergone numerous renovations and modernizations to preserve its functionality and aesthetics. The Tonhalle offers a diverse program ranging from classical concerts to modern music events. The renovation works for the facade and terrace particularly include the following building parts: - Renovation of the sealing of the entire terrace (horizontal brick surface, stair steps, railings, coping stones) - except for the western facade connection; - Facades on the north, east, and south sides (brick surfaces, natural stone surfaces, windows, doors); - Access facilities of the temples at the building corners on the north side with renovation of…
