TENDER DESCRIPTION
SBH | Schulbau Hamburg, as a state enterprise of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg (hereinafter referred to as SBH), is responsible for planning, constructing, maintaining, and managing school properties according to economic principles while considering educational concerns, and leasing more than 400 schools to the Authority for School and Vocational Training (BSB). --------------- A monument-appropriate renovation concept has been developed for the Genslerstraße primary school, which, in addition to remedying defects and hazardous materials, aims to operate the property sustainably, economically, and with a future-oriented approach. The core of the measure is the renovation based on building physics aspects under monument preservation considerations, with a main focus on the renovation of the roof. Additionally, an external staircase will be constructed to improve escape and rescue routes.
