TENDER DESCRIPTION

SBH | Schulbau Hamburg, as a state enterprise of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg (hereinafter referred to as SBH), is tasked with planning, constructing, maintaining, and managing school properties according to economic principles while considering educational needs, and leasing more than 400 schools to the Authority for School and Vocational Training (BSB). --------------- A monument-appropriate renovation concept was developed for the Genslerstraße primary school, which, in addition to defect and contaminant removal, aims to operate the building sustainably, economically, and with a future focus. The core of the measure is the renovation based on building physics aspects and monument preservation considerations, with the main focus on the renovation of the roof. An external staircase will also be constructed to improve escape and rescue routes.
