TENDER DESCRIPTION

The overall measure M4 extends over a length of approximately 1.635 m to the left and 480 m to the right of the Würschnitz. The start of the measure is downstream, below bridge BW 3 at approximately river kilometre 3+620, and it ends above the Klaffenbach water castle at approximately river kilometre 5+260. As a special feature, it must be noted that the following 3 bridge structures (BW) are located in the construction section concerned: Bridges 1 and 3 are designed structurally such that they do not have any effect that would obstruct the flow even in the event of an HQ:5. The top edges of the bridges are each located above the existing terrain. At BW2, an HQ:5 results in a significant backwater, which is why, within the scope of ensuring the flood protection system (HWS), implementation of an HWS measure at this structure becomes necessary. Furthermore, the measure includes the removal/upgrade of the Hutholzbach as a watercourse of Order II, as well as the construction of a bypass channel for a protection objective for a 100-year flood (HQıo0) over a length of approximately 550 m, in order to be able to realize flood protection for the Würschnitz.
