TENDER DESCRIPTION

As part of the roof refurbishment of the school buildings (BN 5-9), the existing roof covering will be removed by the timber construction contractor. The sub-roof that is contaminated with asbestos will be dismantled on site by a specialist company and is not part of this invitation to tender; the contractor takes over the released base/substrate after the appropriate inspection. Following this, structural strengthening measures will be carried out on the roof as well as the creation of a load-bearing roof deck. The new roof build-up includes insulation between the rafters, a new diffusion-open under-roof, counter-battens, and the repair and/or rebuilding of the eaves. For the sports hall (BN 11), the scope of services is analogous, but expanded: In addition to the removal of the roof covering and the asbestos-contaminated under-roof (on site), strengthening measures are to be carried out on the roof, the ceiling joist layer (beam level) and the binders. Both a roof deck and a ceiling deck will be created, supplemented by insulation, under-roof, counter-battens and eaves as for the school buildings.
