TENDER DESCRIPTION

The BMWE intends to award a contract for the business office (GS) “Women in Business”. The business office is to give content to the new priority areas specified by the BMWE and to develop new measures in order to raise awareness among girls and women about vocational self-employment together with the “role model entrepreneurs” (“Vorbild-Unternehmerinnen”) (VUs). In order to prevent and counteract social conditioning and to promote a career choice free from clichés, in addition to vocational and higher education institutions, general education schools are to be approached more strongly in this context. In the interest of the contracting authority (AG), it is also intended to cooperate with other programmes/projects funded by the BMWE, such as for example the SCHULEWIRTSCHAFT AWARD, or the BMWE initiative circle “Starting in school”, and, where appropriate and possible, to develop proposals for cooperation in order to tap potential synergies.
