TENDER DESCRIPTION

The BMWE intends to award a contract for the office (GS) “WOMEN are making business happen”. The office shall, in terms of content, develop the new focal areas specified by the BMWE and devise new measures in order to raise awareness, together with the “role model entrepreneurs” (VUs), of girls and women’s career self-employment. In order to prevent or counter social patterns and to promote a stereotype-free career choice, in addition to vocational and higher education institutions, general education schools are to be targeted more intensively. In doing so, it is in the interest of the contracting authority (AG) to cooperate with further programmes/projects funded by BMWE, e.g. the SCHULEWIRTSCHAFT-AWARD, or the BMWE initiative circle “Founding in school”, and, where sensible and possible, to develop proposals for cooperation in order to unlock potential synergies. In addition, the initiative “WOMEN are making business happen” is also a measure under the joint action plan “More women entrepreneurs for medium-sized businesses”.
