TENDER DESCRIPTION

The service for the Management of the Care Centre for Older People in situations of dependency (Residential Care Home and Day Care Centre) and Supported Housing Units of Usera. The senior centres (residential care home and day care centre) are social facilities that provide accommodation, living together and comprehensive care for older people, having as their general aim to improve their quality of life, and specifically, to maintain and restore their functional capacities while also providing support to the family. Supported housing units are conceived as accommodation equipment, with some common services, for older people with personal autonomy, constituting a living arrangement alternative whose purpose is to provide older people with a way of life similar to the one they would have in their own home, avoiding institutionalisation. At present, the services covered by this contract are provided by a company under a services contract, whose term ends on 31 March 2027. Continuity in the provision of the aforementioned services is essential for the proper operation of the centre, in order to achieve the purposes set out above.
