TENDER DESCRIPTION
The Ahrweiler district intends to partially widen the river bed of the Ahr in the municipality of Bad Neuenahr - Ahrweiler and to enhance it ecologically as part of a river restoration. As part of this, the main excavation is to be carried out in the partial construction section BNA230 in order to widen the river flow discharge profile. The tender includes the following scope of services: - Pre-removal of topsoil including vegetation layer - Layer-by-layer removal of the banks and/or floodplain areas adjacent to the river - Removal of any obstacles in the ground where required (foundations, old utilities, etc.) - Construction of spur tracks from the main construction access road to implement the main excavation - Maintenance of the construction material and/or soil stockpile - Sorting-segregated separation and intermediate storage of the excavated material on the construction site - Shaping/profiling of the bank areas - Partial installation of slope and/or bank reinforcement
