TENDER DESCRIPTION

The Gemeinschaftsgrundschule (GGS) Vorst is the district school for the districts of Vorst and Dries, and is run inclusively in an open all-day programme. The school currently operates in three streams, with currently 11 and, from the school year 2027/2028 onwards, 12 grade-separated classes in the future. At present, 295 pupils attend the school. The school complex consists of a two-storey existing building from the years 1964 and 1974, which was supplemented by an extension building from 2017 (administration area and Open All-Day School - OGS). In addition, to cover the space requirements, a container module with two additional classrooms was built. With the commissioning of the administration wing, the school is made barrier-free and meets the current requirements for inclusion. In total, 12 classrooms are currently available in the existing building and module construction. The OGS is located in the new building from 2017 and currently comprises five supervision rooms as well as a dining hall (cafeteria) with approx. 50 seats.
