TENDER DESCRIPTION

Mainzer Verkehrsgesellschaft mbH intends to renew the tram track infrastructure in the area of “Gonsbachgärten”. The renewal section extends along “An der Bruchspitze” between the level crossing at Hartmühlenweg and the level crossing at house number 57. The existing track infrastructure will be dismantled and replaced by a new track infrastructure with a total length of approximately 400 m. The new track infrastructure consists of grooved rails of profile 60R2 and Vignole rails of profile 49E1 on prestressed concrete sleepers. The subject of this tender is exclusively the supply of all superstructure materials required for the construction of the track infrastructure, including rails, prestressed concrete sleepers, small ironwork (fastening components), connecting elements, transition tracks, and all other components required for the contract-compliant execution. General: • Track gauge 1000 mm, • Min. radius: 25 m • max. rail panel length: 15 m Delivery period: The following delivery date is agreed: calendar week 26 - 2027 The schedule of services (Appendix B1) forms the technical and contractual basis for the preparation of offers and performance of the services.
