TENDER DESCRIPTION

The University Hospital Halle (Saale) AöR is the regionally recognized expert for difficult, severe, and rare diseases and injuries in southern Saxony-Anhalt. We treat patients of all age groups according to the latest scientific findings and benefit from the close integration with the Medical Faculty of Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg. With more than 4,000 employees, the University Hospital Halle (Saale) AöR is one of the leading health centers of academic medicine in Germany. At the Steintor Medical Campus, a new building is to be constructed to expand the central cryo storage infrastructure of the University Medicine Halle (Saale). This extension will be realized as an annex directly adjoining the already existing central cryo storage building. Currently, bioprobes are exclusively stored in ultra-low temperature freezers or chests at -80°C in the existing central cryo storage building. Due to the continuous increase in samples and additional requirements for central sample storage, the available spaces are largely utilized and will be fully exhausted in the foreseeable future.
