TENDER DESCRIPTION

The University Hospital Halle (Saale) AöR is the region-wide recognized expert for difficult, most severe and rare diseases and injuries in southern Saxony-Anhalt. We treat patients of all age groups according to the latest scientific findings and benefit from the close integration with the Faculty of Medicine of Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg. With more than 4,000 employees, the University Hospital Halle (Saale) AöR is among the leading healthcare centers of university medicine in Germany. A new building is to be constructed at the Medizin Campus Steintor to expand the central cryo warehousing infrastructure of University Medicine Halle (Saale). This extension new build is being carried out as an annex immediately adjacent to the already existing central cryo warehouse building. At present, in the existing building of the central cryo warehouse, only biological samples are stored in deep-freezer storage cabinets or chests at -80°C.
