TENDER DESCRIPTION
SBH | Schulbau Hamburg, as the state enterprise of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg (hereinafter referred to as SBH), is responsible for planning, constructing, maintaining, and managing school properties according to economic principles while considering the educational requirements and leasing more than 400 schools to the Authority for School and Vocational Training (BSB). --------------- The Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg, represented by SBH, plans to expand the Heinrich-Hertz School with a new building (use: canteen areas, specialist classrooms, and general teaching rooms). The new building connects on the west side to the existing library without a functional passage connecting them. The new building strengthens the image of Schulstraße by referencing the existing building in material, appearance, and form. The main entrance of the new building is clearly centrally located under the three-story part of the building. Also, in the area of the main entrance, there is an additional side entrance that allows students to reach the canteen via the shortest route.
