TENDER DESCRIPTION

SBH | Schulbau Hamburg, as a state-owned enterprise of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg (hereinafter referred to as SBH), has the task of planning, building, maintaining and operating the school properties in accordance with economic principles, taking account of educational needs, and of leasing more than 400 schools to the Authority for Schools and Vocational Education (BSB). --------------- The Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg, represented by SBH, plans to extend the Heinrich-Hertz-Schule by adding a new building (use: canteen areas, specialist classrooms and general teaching rooms). The new building volume adjoins the existing library on the west side, without being functionally connected to it via a passage. The new building strengthens the appearance of the school street by matching the existing structure in terms of material, character and form. The main entrance of the new building is clearly located centrally under the three-storey building section.
