SBH | Schulbau Hamburg, as a state-owned enterprise of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg (hereinafter referred to as SBH), has the task of planning, building, maintaining and operating school properties in accordance with economic principles while taking educational needs into account, and of leasing more than 400 schools to the authority for schools and vocational training (Behörde für Schule und Berufsbildung, BSB). --------------- The new building of Gymnasium Langenhorn - sports hall is a compact, cost-effective building. All uses are planned for the ground floor and the 1st upper floor. The building is clearly divided into the following areas: Sports hall, foyer area, cloakroom, changing rooms, equipment rooms, corridors and stairwells. Access to the upper floor (OG) is provided via two equivalent staircases and also by means of an elevator in accordance with DIN 18040-1. Here there are four equivalent changing rooms with shower and sanitary rooms, as well as a visitor area for 75 persons extending along the entire length of the building.
