TENDER DESCRIPTION

The contract consists of maintaining all public green spaces within the built-up area and along access roads of the municipality of Cranendonck, such as the maintenance of plantings, trees, grasses, paved surfaces, swales (wadi’s), waste management, tree maintenance and the sweeping of roads, including weed control in public space. For each type of work, a separate contract could be concluded. This could result in an agreement being concluded with different contractors. However, the municipality wants to conclude contracts with a single contractor so that it has one point of contact for comprehensive management, as is the case now. As a result, municipal policy can be implemented effectively and easily. The assignment has therefore been consolidated. If the assignment is split, for example by dividing it into lots, more coordination is necessary. This entails additional activities and thus more (internal) costs. If coordination does not proceed optimally, this may lead to delays and thus additional nuisance for interested parties (for example residents).
