TENDER DESCRIPTION

The maintenance condition of The Hague’s road network is determined once every two years by means of inspections in accordance with a nationally common standard methodology. The results of these inspections are recorded in the GISIB asset management system. Using the data included therein, the municipality selects road sections for which a maintenance measure has been designated. The selected maintenance measures are subsequently further assessed and tested. On that basis, larger, planned follow-on sub-assignments are formulated with a size of more than 200 m². These follow-on sub-assignments are carried out in the subsequent period. In preparing and scheduling these works, coordination takes place with other internal contracting authorities, including sewer management. In addition, at the request of other internal contracting authorities, small-scale reconstruction works may also be included in the follow-on sub-assignments.
