TENDER DESCRIPTION

The province of Overijssel intends to contract one contractor for the execution of a RAW framework agreement for Major Maintenance of Waterways 2026–2032. The assignment relates to planned major maintenance of structures within the provincial waterways in Northwest Overijssel, with the aim of ensuring safe and smooth passage and keeping the waterway infrastructure in sustainable condition. Specific tasks will be awarded during the term of the framework agreement on the basis of the current maintenance needs. The work mainly consists of: • installing, replacing and repairing bank protection structures; • maintaining and repairing lock-stop works and guiding works; • maintaining and replacing mooring and landing facilities; • work on FUPs, PUPs, SUPs and bollards. The work will be carried out within the geographical area of Northwest Overijssel. Under the revision clauses included in the agreement, the scope may be expanded to include work on waterway V77 (Kanaal Almelo–De Haandrik), in accordance with the conditions set out in the procurement documents.
