Substantial repair of forest machinery roads, Contract No. 2026-VG-FB09-0103, 7 lots The subject matter is the substantial repair of existing forest machinery roads (fine forest access) by restoring a load-bearing subgrade with functional drainage of water, and by rebuilding the base course and wearing course layers, including the renewal/supplementation of road culverts. This description applies uniformly to all lots; the respective lengths are specified for each lot below, and the remaining quantities are to be taken from the price schedule for each lot. 1. Formation of subgrade and water drainage Excavate non-load-bearing, partly organic material up to a maximum of 25 cm, with an average depth of 10 cm; plan the material to the side in the existing area, and if necessary use any available load-bearing material/block overburden to balance quantities in the excavator swivel area. Shape the subgrade with a transverse fall of 3–8%; form the lateral discharge of water at a regular spacing of approx. 20 lfm by forming intercepting ditches (approx. 3 m length) into the adjacent area.
