TENDER DESCRIPTION

The city of Mayen is planning the replacement new construction of a gymnasium with a cafeteria as well as additional classrooms on the grounds of the Primary School St. Veit in Mayen. The new building is planned as a multi-storey building using timber frame or solid wood construction. A combined use of sports, cafeteria, and school areas is planned. On the ground floor, there is a single-field sports hall as well as a cafeteria including the necessary ancillary, storage, technical, and functional rooms. Both the sports hall and the cafeteria are designed as larger usage areas with as few supports as possible and pose special requirements for the technical building equipment as well as the coordination of the technical systems within the building structure. On the 1st floor, a gymnastics room with associated ancillary rooms is planned. On the 2nd floor or set-back floor, classrooms and further school-use areas will be arranged. The roof surfaces are planned as flat roofs with green roofing. Additionally, the installation of a photovoltaic system is planned.
