TENDER DESCRIPTION
The City of Mayen plans the replacement construction of a gymnasium with a cafeteria as well as additional classrooms on the premises of the Elementary School St. Veit in Mayen. The new building is planned as a multi-storey structure in timber frame construction or solid wood construction. A combined use of sports, cafeteria, and school areas is planned. On the ground floor there is a single-field sports hall as well as a cafeteria including the necessary ancillary, storage, technical, and functional rooms. Both the sports hall and the cafeteria are designed as larger, as pillar-free as possible usage areas and place special demands on the technical building equipment as well as on the coordination of the technical systems within the building structure. On the 1st upper floor there is a gymnastics room with the associated ancillary rooms. On the 2nd upper floor or set-back floor, classrooms and further school-use areas are arranged. The roof surfaces are designed as flat roof constructions with green roofing. Additionally, the installation of a photovoltaic system is planned.
