TENDER DESCRIPTION

The Thuringian State Office for the Environment, Mining and Nature Conservation operates the State groundwater monitoring network. The monitoring network comprises several sub-networks with different focuses. The State groundwater monitoring network, which has grown historically over time, forms the basis for processing numerous questions in the field of groundwater quality and quantity. The chemical analysis of groundwater at wells, groundwater monitoring points and spring outlets (-intakes) provides, among other things, the data basis for assessing the qualitative status of groundwater bodies in Thuringia. Furthermore, the data are used for the purposes of precautionary groundwater protection. The monitoring network includes monitoring points of different ages and technical configurations (steel, PVC, etc.). The monitoring points are distributed throughout the entire Free State of Thuringia, which presents a challenge for regular sampling.
