TENDER DESCRIPTION

WSW Wuppertaler Stadtwerke GmbH as well as all subsidiary companies (hereinafter jointly referred to as “contracting authority”) intends to set up a group insurance contract for an employer-sponsored health insurance scheme (bKV) in order to promote the health of the workforce and to strengthen employer attractiveness. With the proposed offer, all employees who are in a non-terminated employment relationship with WSW (approximately 2,800 persons) are to be given access to supplementary health-related benefits. With this, the contracting authority aims to support measures for maintaining employees’ health, to promote individual quality of life and to make appreciation of the employees visible through an additional health offer as part of the employer’s benefits. The subject of this procurement procedure is the provision of an employer-financed bKV as group insurance for all employees, including trainees (person group 1). The bKV is structured as a budget tariff (health budget); an annual health budget in the amount of EUR 600.00 per insured person is intended.
