TENDER DESCRIPTION

The city of Wunstorf is planning the extension and renovation of the Steinhude elementary school to become an all-day school. The existing school buildings will be converted for all-day use and expanded by new buildings constructed in timber frame. The construction work will be carried out in staggered phases. The new buildings will house the classrooms, a connecting corridor (1st construction phase), as well as the foyer and a dining hall (2nd construction phase). The existing buildings will be converted for all-day use (2nd and 3rd construction phases). Before the start of the new construction, parts of the existing building stock will be demolished in two phases. In the first phase, the existing gymnasium and associated ancillary rooms will be demolished to clear the construction site for the 1st construction phase. After completion of the 1st construction phase, a connecting corridor and an annex (classroom and WC facilities) will be demolished to clear the site for the 2nd construction phase.
