TENDER DESCRIPTION

The City of Wunstorf is planning the extension and renovation of Steinhude Elementary School into a full-day school. The existing school buildings will be converted for full-day use and expanded by new buildings in timber construction. The construction work will take place in staggered construction phases. The new buildings will accommodate the classrooms, a connecting corridor (1st construction phase), as well as the foyer and a dining hall (2nd construction phase). The existing buildings will be converted for full-day use (2nd + 3rd construction phases). Prior to the start of new construction, parts of the existing building stock will be demolished in two phases. In the first phase, the existing gymnasium and associated ancillary rooms will be demolished to clear the construction site for the 1st construction phase. After completion of the 1st construction phase, a connecting corridor and an extension (classroom and WC facilities) will be demolished to clear the construction site for the 2nd construction phase.
